To this point in life Darryl has had a number of hobbies and interests. From early in life he has been an avid reader and continues to enjoy reading and studying a wide variety of topics. 

His hobbies in his teen years were sports cars, motorcycles and basketball. He could really never afford the cars and bikes he loved, but finally, after high school he got his first sports car, a Triumph TR-3. And, he was really never very good as a basketball player but, he enjoyed being part of a winning team that took 9th his Junior year, and 5th his Senior year, at Olympus High School in the LDS All-Church Basketball tournaments.

Later he developed an interest in photography and golf. He was pretty good a photography and–what can I say?–he really enjoys golf.

Much of his professional career was spent in the computer industry and that became a vocation and hobby as well. 

He has developed an interest in family genealogy and has posted his research online for others to view.

Throughout the years from Junior High School to present his main hobby has been Amateur (Ham) Radio.
